Ally uses her Canon to take pictures at the archive. I brought our Panasonic mini-DV camcorder. Both of these use SD cards, which my computer can read.
As advertised, last night Ally and I saw "Sex and the City: Le Film." If you liked the show, you will like the movie. We went to the movie after having dinner with everyone else. Ally wanted Vietnamese food, but the timing just wasn't going to work. You can't usually be seated for dinner before seven. Eli needs to go to bed by eight, preferably by seven-thirty. And we had our movie at nine, and wanted to be early. So we ended up getting food à emporter (to go) from a traiteur. It was pretty good. We also tried the Mont Ste.-Victoire cake we'd been seeing at a nearby bakery. It's kind of like a loaf-shaped fruitcake featuring blueberries and wrapped in almond paste--kind of like marzipan but less sweet than we were expecting. It, too, was pretty good. Marty, who as some of you know used to work at a state liquor store in Utah, has been into this wine store lately. The owner has been picking out good wines for him.
